OUR MISSION

Our Mission is to be the most successful Human Resources and Leadership consultancy.

We provide specialist and technical guidance but in a friendly and approachable way. We don’t want to make HR into a ‘impenetrable art’ that managers struggle to understand, but instead to break down the law into pragmatic and accessible advice for your business that will really make a difference to your bottom line.

From our founder

“I founded Barrow & Parker nearly ten years ago because I believed in ‘better HR for business’. HR and training support which was commercial and strategic, not rule driven and limiting.

We have evolved and grown a great deal in that time and developed our skill set into new support areas and new markets.

One of my colleagues arrived with us stating ‘I want to work with Kind and Clever People’. We have embraced this mantra with pride – I too want to work with ‘kind and clever’ colleagues who add huge value to the businesses that we support in the most ethical way.

We offer a full range of end to end human processes from specialist advice in Employee Relations, TUPE, HRIT and OD&D to open courses, leadership training and coaching.

We are a proud Institute of Leadership accredited centre and are aware winning as a consultancy.

I have been fortunate enough to rank in the HR Most Influential Thinker lists in both 2023 and 2024.

We punch above our weight in the bids that we win and the work that we do and we support over 60 international animal welfare charities pro bono.

Meet the Associates

MODERN SLAVERY

Barrow & Parker Ltd is committed to take the necessary steps to combat modern slavery. The company is run and managed by Beth Evans who undertakes annual CPD to remain aware and updated with regard to all legislative commitments. Barrow & Parker operates mainly in the UK and works with key Associates to deliver services.

Beth Evans is the key responsible individual within the organization who monitors compliance with the Modern Slavery Act. Due diligence is carried out with all Associates. Associates are individual sole traders rather than third-party suppliers.

All Associates are required to update and maintain their knowledge of Modern Slavery and ensure ongoing compliance.
